From his roots in North West London to his current base in Manchester, Marcoussimo is a songwriter and producer with a dynamic musical history. His journey began with Bambino, a band that secured a publishing deal with BMG Publishing, leading to extensive touring and recording across the UK. Following this, a pivotal collaboration with Grammy-winning engineer Ian Rossiter led to the formation of Oscar The Punk, where Marcoussimo worked with and remixed tracks for an impressive roster of artists, including Robyn, Gwen Stefani, Moby, and MIA.

Marcoussimo is set to soundtrack your endless summer with his latest offering: 'Summer Can Never Be Over,' a sun-soaked, four-track EP dropping on Friday, July 11th. This release marks his third single of 2025, building on the momentum of "Phone Life in Las Vegas" and "Energy". Inspired by Ibiza's golden hour, beach days, and late-night clubs, the EP masterfully blends electro, tech, house, disco, chill-out, and rave across four distinct mixes. Accompanied by a cinematic short film created with AI-assisted video tools and artwork shot at the iconic Sunset Marquis Hotel, 'Summer Can Never Be Over' is a vibrant celebration and a sonic tribute to the magic of the SUMMER season.

cAN I GET A PHONE LIFE?

Electronic producer and songwriter Marcoussimo is set to release his debut single, "Phone Life In Las Vegas", on February 21st, 2025. The single, alongside the Crazy Horse Remix, will be available on all major streaming platforms and includes 100 numbered 7” vinyl, available directly to purchase from www.marcoussimo.com

Phone Life In Las Vegas is inspired by Marcoussimo’s journey through the vibrant, neon-drenched streets of Las Vegas in 2024 and our obsession with phones and social media. The track encapsulates the chaotic pulse of contemporary life—where flashing lights and digital screens rule, yet genuine connections seem harder to find.

"While walking through the streets of Vegas, I was struck by the mix of spectacle, excess, and the constant pull of phones," Marcoussimo explains. "The city felt alive, yet disconnected in many ways, and that paradox inspired the track. It’s a fun, energetic tune but reflects something more—the digital obsession that defines modern existence."

Musically, "Phone Life In Las Vegas" channels influences OF electronic pioneers like The Chemical Brothers and Fat Boy Slim. Marcoussimo’s signature style blends electronic dance music with a hint of film soundtracks and indie and rock influences.

wHY do i feel so sad?

Why Do I Feel So Sad? Taken from Marcoussimo's Country Electro Part 1 EP being released 30th May 2025.

As someone who loves experimenting with different genres, I’ve always been drawn to blending sounds uniquely. "Why Do I Feel So Sad" came to life during a period of solitude after I moved to the middle of nowhere. Isolated and spending most of my time in the studio,

I began reflecting on loneliness. I contacted Texas-based singer-songwriter Tom Savage, sharing my vision for the track. When he asked about the inspiration behind it, I told him I wanted to capture the spirit of Johnny Cash—but with a twist—set against the vastness of the desert.

Though the title may sound a little melancholy, I find "Why Do I Feel So Sad" surprisingly uplifting. It's a mix of country and disco, a fusion that brings unexpected energy to the story of isolation.
